best gaming 4k monitor for about £300

hi there,

I am building a new pc and looking for a monitor. I am looking for a 4k IPS with a higher than 6Hz refresh rate for about £300. I know that this wont be easy but can any body help. If not then a 1440p monitor would be fine too.

Im guessing you meant 60Hz not 6Hz, but problem there is there is currently no 4k monitor with a refresh rate higher than 60Hz. Those monitors aren't due out till sometime in 2018 and it's highly unlikely they will even start any where close to 300 quid. You can't even find a 1440p IPS 75+hz monitor for that much. Best you can get for around 300 is a 29" ultrawide 2560x1080 with ips and 75Hz.

The cheapest 1440p G-sync monitor is well above £300.
