I have built my own computer and while it starts up fine with fans and lights and remains powered until manually shut down, it won’t display to my monitor. The monitor works with any other device using the same hdmi cable and has previously worked with the same computer, however with similar problems occurring when I first built it. The monitor will automatically turn on when I plug an hdmi into the computer but won’t receive a signal. The specs for my computer are as follows
MSI tomahawk B350 motherboard
Ryzen 5 CPU
Windows 10
450w power supply
16 gb of ram from ripsaw cards
Gigabyte graphics card
Nzxt case

Have you checked http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems ?
Make sure that you're connecting the monitor to the card, and not motherboard.
