So I right clicked my desktop and selected nvidia control panel and changed the refresh rate to 144 since my monitor is supposed to support it. The screen turned black and I had to use my second monitor to change the setting back to 60hz. Settings are changed now back to 60hz but my acer XFA240 still does not work when I plug in the dvi-d cable. only the hdmi which is plugged into my computer and not my graphics card will work on my XFA240. can anyone help me with this. have tried rebooting comp didn't work.
