Gaming display faster/less input lag than Asus VG248QE?

Hey everyone. Been doing some gaming on an Asus VG248QE that I picked up a couple years ago as it was arguably the fastest monitor around as far as input lag. A lot of places I visit still place it near or at the top.

I have been playing some halo 2 on it and here's where my issue comes in. 15 years ago I played halo 2 on a crt and it was great. Now on led and LCD displays we have the issue of input lag. The Asus I have feels the closest I've felt to a CRT since actual crt's but I still feel a difference. Is there anything out there with even less input lag that feels like a good old cry? Or is the Asus still about the closest it's gonna get?

Note that I also use this for pc gaming, I switch between this and my Xbox one.

Any tn panel with 1ms gtg is going to be the closest you'll get to crt. Signal processing is another factor.

Asus's signal processing is pretty good and so is Acer.

15years is so long ago, you should be used to the inferior lcd by now ;P
