Will my EVGA 1080 SC get low fps because of my 1080p 144hz Display while gaming ? Ive tried to find a solution on the internet but the answer were very unclear and different on seemingly every site ive entered. The question is if I NEED a 2560x1440 monitor to even play games like R6 Siege with an smooth 144 FPS on good Graphic Settings.

Solution
No, the higher the frequency the more powerful the GPU needs to be to feed that frame rate. Your card will kill it in RB6 and basically stay over 144Hz all the time at 1080p.

You don't need a 1440p monitor at all and in fact it might not stay at 144Hz all the time because of the increased resolution, which is why many pro FPS gamers use 1080 p panels to begin with.
