Would an onboard graphics on one monitor and a video card on another still affect performance?

I really want to keep using my old 1280x1024 monitor so I can use it for browsing while on my 1080p monitor for gaming. Would it affect performance dramatically if I put the onboard on my old monitor while I use a gtx 1050ti on my 1080p monitor? (My motherboard does have onboard graphics and currently is enabled since I haven’t gotten the parts I’m listing but will be getting for the pc)

Intel g4560
Gtx 1050ti
8gb ram

Solution
Might not be possible to use both GPUs at the same time - - depends if your BIOS supports that option.

Assuming that you already know about that, there should be no performance issues using both.

I use something like that myself, I haven't found any issues with it. I have an onboard running the large 1440p panel for 2D stuff and there's a gaming paneling on the discrete card so people can play and test the 1080. There's been no performance issues.
