Today, I was watching some youtube videos like i usually do, then I look down and see that my wifi's disconnected. This has been happening for some time now. I click on the wifi icon and see that there's no wifi button to turn on. I go to device manager and see that my wifi adapter isn't there, is there a fix for this? I've tried scanning for changes and restarting and shutting down for a while now and I can't really download anything because I have no wifi, any help? My wifi adapter is made by realtek, I can't really remember the model of my laptop or anything
.

Solution
If you're using Win10 (16299.125), it's an MS cockup (again)

I'm pretty sure KB4054517 is the cause. MS are also aware of this. I've been getting the same thing on this.

It never disconnected prior to installing the above update

The USB wireless adapter disappears from device manager and network connections.

Only way I can fix it, is a reboot
