No display after shutting my computer down then starting up.

Hey all! I'm having an issue where I have my computer working just fine. I then go to shut down my computer. I start it up and I get no display. I am then forced to unplug my monitor then plug it back in with the power and I get signal again. I recently just bought the new Samsung CHG90 49 inch monitor.

I had that problem - - - turned out to be a faulty monitor which, before returning it, I confirmed by using a spare monitor I always keep stashed away. Problem never occurred when spare monitor was used, nor did it ever occur with the replacement monitor when it arrived.

I had a buddy of mine I talked to tell me to try a different display port on my graphics card and that seemed to work... for now. We'll see what happens. Thanks for the info and I hope I don't have anymore issues with the monitor. It's really great!
