DELL S2417DG worth it for my specs?

Hi everyone! I am looking for a good "price for performance" gaming monitor to fit all my needs and I recently came across the DELL S2417DG 1440P 165Hz gaming monitor which fits all my needs perfectly. My gut tells me that my specs should be able to run this monitor perfectly but I would like to get a second opinion as this is a pricy investment and I don't want to waste my money. I play a lot of FPS shooters such as COD:WWII, Destiny 2, star wars battlefront 2 and battlefield 1, and this will me my first proper gaming monitor as I have never experienced a 144Hz+ refresh rate before. My specs are:
CPU: I7 7700K@4.2GHz
GPU: ASUS strix 1080Ti OC edition
RAM:16GB DDR4
I have been told that I should be able to play games on high settings with no problem at 1440P and a 144/165Hz refresh rate and just want a second opinon from you guys/gals? Keep in mind I will be paring this monitor with 2 other monitors for a 3 monitor setup( the 2 other monitors are the ones I am currently using which are the Samsung S24E510C, both at 1080P 60HZ) and that I am not doing any overclocking on any of my components.

I’d go with the S2716DG if you can - 27” is awesome. Your setup will rock.

Thanks! Would you recommend the S2716DG over the S2417DG? The S2716DG seems to be fairly scarce where I'm from and I have never played on a 27" before, only on 23-24". So you would say I won't have any problems with running these monitors with my current PC specs?

The monitors will perform the same regardless of physical size since the resolution is the same. You’re good to go for whatever you can afford with what’s available where you are.
