Seriously? Wow... Thanks! Windows 7 don't do that right? I am using windows 7 on my current laptop..

when building pc the mb will come with a driver cd. most time those drivers will work but are old. the poster above is right windows 10 if it can get online will pull in a lot of drivers for you. the issue for some people like you is your using an m2 or newer sata stoarge device. sometime you need intel raid or 3 party drivers for windows 10 installer to see newer sata drives. to save yourself some pain do this.
pick up a new usb 3.0 usb stick 8g or larger in size.
use windows media creation tool to make newest windows iso.
when it down make a folder on it called drivers. or my drivers.
downlaod newest intel chipset driver and 3 party raid drivers.
downlaod the ethernet and sound drivers. from the chipset vendor.
put on video card drivers.
put on the newest printer drivers and mouse and keyboard drivers. that your going to use.
when you get into windows install those drivers.
