Stop deleting old accounts

I have a Tom's account as david437, which I created just a year or two ago to replace a previous account that Tom's deleted. Now this account, too, no longer works. If Tom's gave me a specific way to give feedback, I'd object to this practice. If you are trying to save disk space, shorten the account to username and hash of password and just keep these.

Moved to Forum Feedback.

A couple of months ago, there was a major restructure in the log on subsystem. Members were required to log in during that period and verify.
If you didn't, the system probably dropped that account.
