Several Apps Are Crashing!

Hi, several apps on my computer are crashing. i first noticed it when i was trying to change settings in my audio hub, the second time was when i tried to download Corsair Effects. every time i try to open either of the programs i immediately get the same notification that says "(program) has stopped working". I've tried power shell commands and reinstalling both programs i don't know what the problem is.

i decided to dive a little further, I did a clean boot and that fixed the problem.
(the program conflicting was MSI afterburner.)
