New monitor screen tearing (AOC M2470SW)

I have just set up a new monitor AOC M2470SW and installed the monitor drivers. The screen is tearing on dark backrounds when things move around.
My graphics card is a zotac mini gforce gtx 1060 6gb

I have tested my other monitor which is a targa visionary that uses a hdmi to dvi cable and it works fine with no screen tearing occuring so I dont suspect my graphics card is faulty.
Any help would be appriciated.Thank you

i have this too, looking around for a solution atm. have you found one?

You have to go into the menu and turn off the overdrive setting .Although even when I did that my monitor is still having minor ghosting problems so Im trying to return it but this may just be in my case. Tell me if you are still having problems when overdrive is off.
