Monitor displays lots of vertical white lines when switching from 60hz to 144hz

I have installed a new monitor, and whenever i switch to the 144hz setting. Many white lines appear on the screen obscuring nearly all of the screen. Upon switching back however, the issue fixes.
The monitor is the Optix G27C2 from MSI.

Would anyone happen to know what the problem could be?

I have tried with DP and DVI
