Triple/quadruple monitors on sli 1080 ti

So I plan on getting sli 1080 ti’s to run my 3 27” monitors and 1 34 inch ultra wide. But the ASUS Strix card only has 2 DisplayPort and 2 HDMI. How do I set them all up on DisplayPort if I only have two ports. I don’t want to use a splitter because I heard those aren’t really good for gaming.

You should be able to use 2DPs and 1 HDMI for setting up a surround system with three monitors, then use the last one as an "extra" non surround monitor.

EDIT: I forgot you said SLI, since your doing SLI, use this configurator: https://www.geforce.com/hardware/technology/surround/system-requirements

(Just pick the TITAN X as your card since they don't have 1080 Tis on the list, both Titan X and 1080 Ti should be identical.)

Won’t the fact that 1 of them is hdmi beike slightly slower and worse, even though it won’t be noticeable?

No, you should have HDMI 2.0 which can push 144hz at 1440P so you'd be fine.

The monitor would have to have HDMI 2.0 too for that to work, which most don't.
