Lag spikes in games while moving mouse

So i built a new pc about 3 days ago it has not been working that good as it actually would, It started with when having many processes and mostly discord open at the same time as playing a game i get really hard lag spikes. I drop to about 1-10 fps when i move the mouse but if i dont move my mouse i get frequently 60-70 frames. And its not my cpu temps. My temps while at full load are under 50c

PC SPECS
Mobo: Aorus by gigabyte GA-Z270X-Gaming K5
GPU: Windforce GTX 970
CPU: Intel I7 7700K
RAM: 16 GB Corsair 3200mhz DDR4

If you are opening an unreasonable amount of programms and browser tabs in the background, it is expected that your performance will suffer quite a bit.

But i mean i only have 1 browser or just discord open and it still lags if my cpu uses something else than the game it lags really hard when moving my mouse

Does this happen in all games or only specific ones? I would try reinstalling or updating nividia drivers and setting your pc and gpu to performance mode

It keeps happening in the most games. Worst ones are PUBG and GTA V it keeps dropping to 1 fps while i got discord on at the same time. I have the latest drivers for all my components. I have tried reinstalling discord and steam and all the games. I got my pc on performance mode and when i play games without anything on in the backround the games dont lag at all. I dont get what the problem is..

I would reinstall windows, it can take a while but it is likely to fix most problems, I do think that your parts are slightly underperfoming too because you should be getting more than 60-70 fps in pubg and GTA 5

Yeah i think they are pretty much unpreforming. I think i will try a reinstall of windows tho.

I found the problem. It was the polling rate on my steel series mouse. I lowered it from 1000 to 125.
