msi gaming app software not opening at all

Im trying to change the color of my leds with the msi gaming app but it will not open (normal double click and run as admin). I looked for a couple hours online but not finding a solution for my specific solution, i have tried a clean install and did not work. Is this a Compatibility issue im not seeing and/or overlooking.

Ryzen 5 1600X 3.6 ghz
windows 10 64 bit OS
MSI x370 gaming pro carbon motherboard
2x8 patriot 16g. RAM
PNY Geforce GTX 1060 Factory OC

Uninstall then run a registry cleaner and do a fresh install. Make sure to redownload the newest apps from MSI's site directly so it is the most current version.

It shouldn't be a compatibility issue as I use MSI apps and I'm on Windows 10 as well. It could be an issue with Creators update which using the most current versions of software should have fixed that.
