How can I format the flash drive that came with Windows 10?

I was wondering if it would be possible to format the flash drive that came included with Windows 10, like the one used to install Windows. I've tried using the diskpart tool in command prompt and even just the basic right clicking on the drive and it says it's write protected.. I used the diskpart tool to remove the write protection but had no luck.
