Task scheduler issues

I am having trouble running a .bat file using task scheduler.

I would like task scheduler to run the .bat file (which runs a script) when I open a game.

I don't want to script to run when I log in/run windows, on startup, but as I start the game.

first thing you have to do is find the "event id" or whatever info is needed that is triggered whn you run that game. use the Event Viewer. once you got that info. create a task. and your trigger is "when a particular event occurs" or something along those lines.
