Getting stuck in preparing to configure windows

Hi everyone,

Im recently having an issue with my computer. It all started when my computer suddenly crashed and restarted. Then it doesn't open anymore and gets stucked in "preparing to configure windows

I've tried to reset my pc and kept the files and it still happens time to time. I've also noticed that my drive C gets takes space time to time until it gets full.

Where do you think the problem lies? Sometimes when i restart my pc. it gets stuck again in the windows preparing to configure then i reset my pc again. Im planning to clean install when i get my SSD later this week.

Another situation where you back everything up, wipe, repartition and reformat the HDD, and do a clean install of the OS. (see
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and https://www.windowscentral.com/how-create-windows-10-usb-bootable-media-uefi-support). I'm assuming you're running Win10.
After installing the OS, and before you reinstall any of your programs, make sure you download and install all the latest drivers for the motherboard, GPU, etc. If you're still having problems, this is the time to troubleshoot them.

Should i really do it with USB? Can iinstall using my optical drive?
