My current graphics card a Nvidia Quadro FX4600 has a 4-pin (square, black) molex power connector, I'm thinking of upgrading to a Nvidia Quadro FX5800 but it needs a 8-pin (rectangular) molex power connector.

How can I connect it up? I can't see any 8-pin connectors in my box, or another spare molex cable.

Great, thank you for that.

Rather than a splitter cable I think the straight 4 TO 6 is enough for my needs, could you tell what is the difference between the

Coboc EPSADATX48-6 6" ATX 12V P4 4-Pin (male) to EPS 12V 8-Pin (female) Motherboard /CPU Power Supply Adapter Converter Cable

and the

OKGEAR FC48-4 4" ATX 4 Pin male to ATX 8Pin female cable

apart from just the brand.

ATX/EPS 4/6/8 pin are for motherboard connection and will not work or plug in GPUs. They need PCIe type connectors. If your GPU has 8pin connector, an 8pin PCIe cable should be used. 6 is not enough.
