want to purchase a 24 inch gaming monitor for grandson

Just purchased a Dell XPS tower Intel Core i7-8700 processer 0r, 16 gb memory, 2tb hard drive from, nvdia GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4 GB graphics from Costco. I want a gaming monitor with gsync. What should I be looking at? I don't want to spend over $500. I am thinking about 1080p, 24 inch (doesn't have a lot of space), Gsync. My grandson has xbox one experience and would like to begin playing games on the computer. So nothing really complicated, but something that looks good and plays well. I am not even sure how many Hz I should be looking at with my video of 1050ti. Asus Rog Swift PG248Q or Acer Predator XB241H were 2 I was looking at. What are your thoughts - or any other one that might be good? I am asking the experts about which kind of computer is good and also what statistics I should be looking for when purchasing. What will my computer at 1050ti take?

you don't need gsync for 1050 ti. Any regular 1080p 60Hz monitor is fine. Too weak to cause any observable stuttering in 1080p...
