Guys,
Feeling kinda stupid asking this but here we go.
I built a system with the i7-8700K on Asus Z370-G with Corsair Vengence LED Ram.
I then purchased the Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU Cooler and did not check specs at all.
As you could guess the cooler won't fit cause of the high RAM (think its 46 but could be 48mm).
The Ram fits in slots 3 and 4 however I would have to rotate the cooler 180 degrees.
My question is now ...
Does that work? Can I rotate the cooler and still have the cooling effect or do the brackets/backplates dont support that? If not ... any recommendations on a cooler that works with the highth of the RAM and cooles the system running stock speeds? It would probably endure heavy gaming.
Any ideas are appreciated.
