BSOD on launching csgo

For some reason when I launch cs I get the bsod, its only for cs, no other games cause this, I tried tf2 as well just to see if it was the source engine but alas it was not.

When I launch cs the game opens up, but before or right as its going to go to the main menu is when the bsod hits, whether windowed or not.
I am on a new, freshly built pc excluding the gpu and psu, parts shouldnt be the problem, though my cpu does have 8 cores which is not normal I'm aware. I would imagine it's the drivers but I'm not sure.

I have the I-7 7820x cpu
the asus x299 tuf v2 mobo
mobo was updated yesterday
gpu has latest driver but it is a 770
any additional drivers I had windows install on setup

didnt show any problems even after utilizing window's "fresh start" option of which reinstalls the os, still cant launch cs too

CAngell333, I am having the same exact problem and I have the same setup as you. Which BIOS tweaks did you do to solve this issue...driving me crazy. Thanks.
