So I've seen a monitor for a very cheap price on ebay. I haven't got all the parts for my system atm but would i be able to get that monitor and test it out on my old rig for any problems before my other parts arrive for my new pc.?
Its a 3440x1440 100hz monitor and my current rig is -

Cpu: Fx 8350
Gpu: R9 280 OC 3gb windforce
Ram: 16gb ddr3

I know that this pc wouldn't even run games at this resolution with high fps. But would it be able to test common monitor test. Blacklight bleed / hz of the monitor (that moving image test) and to see if any dead pixels.

Thank you for reading.

That graphics card will be able to drive that many pixels without a issue, even with some older games - just not in ultra. You can enjoy some game and your entire movie collection until you build you new rig.
