Dual monitor setting

Hello,

I got two monitors and I have only 1 type of cable. So I am planning to plug it into GPU area and Motherboard area. But the Motherboard slot doesn't work , only GPU slot is working. Is there any ways to make it possible? I heard you can set it in BIOS but I don't know much about it.

Most BIOS versions turn off IGPU when a dedicated GPU is inserted.
What is your GPU and monitors ?

Sorry for the late reply.

It works when I use DVI and Display Port together into the GPU slot, but Display Port isn't mine so I have to return. That's why I'm finding a way to do this by plugging one into the motherboard slot.

GPU - GTX 1060 / Titan X

By this, I don't think we have to worry about whether it's compatible or not. Because my GPU's pretty much can do anything. What I'm not sure is, the BIOS. I tried enabling IGPU thing in BIOS but it didn't work.

As I said, most MBs do not support that. There's an adapter from any GPU output to any monitor input, you just have to match them.
