1 LED backlight bar?

I know what backlight is and what it does and the fact that LED backlighting is standard. It all depends on how it's done. Most cheaper panels have edge lighting, however this panel (https://www.viewsonic.com/vn/products/lcd/VX3276-2K-mhd.php) apparently only has 1 LED backlight bar. My question is just how is that even done and how much would that affect image quality. In this case, I'm assuming it's one bar placed across one side of the panel not something that is connected and stretches around the whole panel. If anyone could just clarify/explain, that would be great.

I know that, I was wondering if it was all around the edges or just at the bottom for example

so that's mean the top will be more brighter than the bottom compared to panels with 2 LED backlight bar?

GC2870 and it's very bright even at lowest light setting, have to control it thru GPU driver and Windows.
