Okay so, the first time I opened and hooked up this monitor I had a dark purple vertical line going from top to bottom in the centre of the screen. This line went away when pressure was applied to the area right below it on the monitor's frame.
I did some updates on my computer, restarted it a few times, and now the purple line does not appear. It's covered under warranty to 13 months.
Should I just return it now and get another monitor with the money or do you think its probably fine?
I don't understand the purple crack obviously. But I know it was a pressure crack with some ribbon involved, so it doesn't make sense how it would magically go away with me doing close to nothing. Need advice. Thanks for your time
