I'm hoping someone might be able to help me. I'm not very tech savvy but I can follow instructions. Bear with me as I explain my problem. So yesterday when trying to log into my Asus laptop I found that the login screen was blank. My background picture was there but no way for me to enter password. Tried to reboot and nothing. I tried to go into safe mode, computer will then bring up log in screen and I log in. Takes about 8 min to load safe mode but the screen keeps blinking and the curser has the thinking dots. Unable to do anything in safe mode. Decided to try a complete reinstall. Gets to about 30 percent and then said it encountered an error and was unable to do a whole reinstall. I don't know what else to do.
