Hello Griffdoe4

Sometime multiple instances of a program launch. This usually happens if we initiate a program, the app takes longer than usual to start, and we double-click the icon again to start the program.

If this is the first time you're seeing this, you can right-click each instance in the Task Manager individually, and click End Task.

Please report back if this doesn't work, and you need any further assistance.

Cheers!! :)

Solution
Chrome itself does open multiple subroutines in task manager that looks like multiple chrome programs.

Closing one of those Chrome "programs" will close them all.

These subroutines allow the browser to multitask more effectively.

Firefox also opens multiple subroutines that appear as tasks.

These are working as expected.

As for Spotify you may have clicked it twice.
