Monitor goes black when I turn something off/on (I.e. a fan) but comes back after

Sometimes when I turn on/off the fan in my room, my LED monitor (a samsung sf350 to be precise) goes black for like a second and then comes back to normal (something I noticed is that the hdmi icon that appears whenever i turn the monitor on doesn't when this happens).
Should I be concerned about this? the monitor works fine but I'm afraid it'll have consecuences

Try moving the fan to a different plug in your room. My guess is on the fan startup it has the highest amp pull and then will calm down once running, that amp pull might be spiking the circuit and your monitor is not liking it.
