Hi guys,
I am installing windows from a bootable USB and have faced a problem when trying to install it. I am installing windows 10 on a brand new pc and have rearranged the BIOS so it would boot on the usb. After selecting language settings and region etc I got an error when I press 'install'. Error message 'No device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click ok'. I have no idea what to do.
I checked to see if it worked in all usb ports. The USB is showing up in the browse list but still not working. I am just wondering now if the file was corrupted or something when downloading windows using the creation tool.
I have no optical drive so I can't install from a disk. Any ideas?? I heard there was a very similar problem on Windows 7 and 8, but far more unlikely to see on Windows 10. Any suggestions appreciated!

Solution
Hi guys,
Good news, I got it working! Not sure what was wrong but I downloaded the iso file to my laptop and used Rufus this time to make a bootable USB. Worked first time. Hope this helps. Thanks for your suggestions!
Well, when I load up bios it goes in UEFI BIOS UTILITY if that helps. Then I arrange boot priority so that UEFI sandisk cruzer edge(usb name) is before regular sandisk cruzer edge and Toshiba HDD.
I ma using Asus prime b350-plus as my MB. Sorry I don't really understand what you mean, but I hope that helps!

Is it a usb 3.0 stick? Are you pluggin it into a usb 3.0 port?
I had issues with this before and just using a usb 2.0 stick or using a 2.0 port fixed it most of the time.
Redoing the media creation can't hurt since even when it was succesfull I've had corrupted media too.

Are there any drivers I should install or any changes I should make to the bios? This is a brand new build and I have made no changes to the bios except boot priority.

SecureBoot is enabled in my UEFI BIOS. Is this meant to be turned off or can I leave it on? The usb was also showing up in the boot menu with fast boot enabled but I disabled it just in case

You could turn it off. Yes boot using UEFI not Legacy, which may or maynot be an option. After you turn on the PC with the USB inserted you should get a boot option menu, which I think you already said you did. If the USB boots and start to walk through the installation and fails with no device driver found it would likely mean the drivers packaged with win10 don't suppo9rt or recognize whatever type of HD or SSD you have. Let us know what happens next time you try.

Well, I when I access the UEFI BIOS the UEFI usb has boot priority so it is capable of booting from usb. I have a 16gb usb 2.0 in usb 2.0 port. My HDD is Toshiba DT01ACA100. Is there anyway I can make windows compatible with this hard drive by downloading drivers? Or will I have to buy a new one? Is it necessary I have secure boot off? Sorry for all the questions, I am just really frustrated! Thanks for the reply

I have tried it with secure boot off but no luck. I will probably have an expert take a look at it tbh. Any more suggestions are welcome. Thanks for your help thus far.

Outstanding. Looks like rufus created a "bootable" version, not sure why the MS tool couldn't do the same. First time for everything and thanks for letting us know.
