Help Picking Monitor for MSI Rx 580 Gaming X

So I'm a high school student and need my computer primarily for homework and working, but I would like to get into gaming, as I have CF 580s (Got them for Mining). Are there are any monitor suggestions that are 2k and have either a high FPS or like 75 Hz with Freesync. Also on somehat of a tight budget as I already spent a lot of my parent's money (Like something under $450 CAD would be great). Thanks a lot!
