Yet another 'help me upgrade PC thread'

Built this PC quite a while ago, around 2012 I believe. Bit of a noob back then, with a limited budget too. Looking to upgrade some parts of the system now, but unsure what. Here are my current specs:

Processor: Intel Core i3-3220
PSU: Corsair TX650
RAM: Corsair Vengance LP DDR3 (2x8GB)
SSD (OS): 120GB V300
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX960
HDD: WD Blue 1TB
Case: Cooler Master HafX v2 Full Tower (i.e: quite large)
Motherboard: Asus P8Q77-M

I most recently upgraded graphics card, and am happy with that. I have around 350 Pounds (roughly 500 dollars) to spend on some upgrades, but I don't really know where to start.

The SSD is a little small I guess (I initially put a 60GB one in, what a disaster).

I will try to find a cheap used 3rd gen I5 or I7, new ones are super expensive.

Your cheapest upgrade would be buy a used i7 3770 processor other than that you would need a new processor, board, and memory.
Other than that I would go with the i3 8100 4 true cores.
Listed a mATX board since that is what you have now incase that is all that will fit.

Wait till ryzen 2 release. Then decide. By that time, maybe even the b350/h370 chipsets may be in the market.
