So I have a AOC 35" Agon AG352UCG 2K QHD G-SYNC 100Hz Ultrawide Gaming Monitor. And I have a GTX 980 and I just cant run some games not even at lowest settings. I was trying to see if i could run it at 2560x1080 the 1080 ultrawide but that option isn't available for me no where in the settings. I tried going to nvidia control panel but cant change the setting there either. It also wont let me add a custom resolution but i ain't entirely sure how to do that anyway. And I can't upgrade my GPU right now cause we have all seen the prices and im waiting for volta anyway ill buy the 1180Ti or whatever is next.

There are usually resolution options in the games themselves. What games are you playing? You do need to run the games in fullscreen and not windowed mode. Resolution scaling pretty much does the same thing also. Try turning that ip in game if possible

Tbh its any game. AC Origins or Wildlands or Metro or PUBG no game even in fullscreen displays 2560x1080 it just goes from 3440x1440 straight to 2560x1440 to 1080p etc

I have this monitor and have this same issue I was able to solve it by making a custom resolution in the nvidia control panel and then it became available to me in games. I however am getting a ton of screen tearing even tho gsync is enabled are you experiencing this on yours?

I was actually unable to make the custom resolution at all it says your monitor does not support this resolution and it doesnt let me actually make that resolution at all.
