Supporting six monitors

I am looking to run six monitors from a PC.

I don't play games and the monitors are all pretty old (1908FP Dell monitors), and it is to simply run mostly text-based tasks, editing, email, web browsing, and some very basic image manipulation (I use Paint more than I use Photoshop!).

I am in the process of getting a new PC so want to get this all sorted in one go.

I don't want to spend a fortune; ideally under £200-250 for the solution. I was thinking of two graphics cards each able to run three monitors; I'd have to get adapters to make the monitor end DVI.

I want to get this sorted before I look for my new PC to ensure it has sufficient PCI-e slots and sufficient wattage to run them.

Thanks for any replies.

Thanks for that. Reassuring. Can you recommend a card which will support three monitors and which is of reasonable quality but won't break the bank? I'm unsure how much memory would be advisable on such a card which will support three monitors.
