I would like get a 32" or 34" monitor. I have It's a HP 2511x I'm using now. My new build consist of an Rysen 1600 mounted on a ASRock AB350 gaming ITX, 16bg ram and a Asus ROG Strix Gaming GTX 1060 OC 6gb video card. I play the 2 WOW's, Warcraft & Warships. I also stream movies. I also see some 32" & 34" displays that attract my attention such as the LG 32GK850G which is $850 and the LG34UM69G-B which is $500 cheaper but only 1080p & FreeSync. Is the LG 32GK850G worth the extra cost & will my 1060 handle it. I'm not sure I would like a curved monitor. Any suggestions would be helpful. While I can go $850 I would like to stay $600 or less.

Thanks for any & all help

The LG is a great monitor. However with a 1060 6gb OC you aren't going to push it close to what it is capable of. If you had a GTX 1080 or 1080ti then the LG would make sense. Buy this if you are planning on a major video card upgrade very soon.

I tried the 21:9 ultra wide screens myself and found them to be very short. The 32" is much taller. Also most games don't support this aspect ratio correctly and even if the game play does work the cur scenes will not.
The 38" ones are better, but don't support g-sync.

I suggest you consider something like the Philips BDM3270QP2 and Philips Momentum 326M6FJSB. The difference is that the first one is VA the second is IPS. VA = deeper blacks, much better contrastm slightly faster (4ms vs...

I use the VA panel and I am very happy with it. It is around 309 on amazon while the IPS is around 380. Neither supports adaptive sync.

Thanks, monitors are the most confusing piece of hardware for me to choose. I'm checking these 2 monitors out. I see one has editor choice award.
Thanks again

It's been a month now & I am more than pleased. It's big enough to enjoy movies plus it isn't so big I need to turn my head back & forth to game.
Thank you for the suggestion.
