Monitor for PS4 and PC

I have been doing a lot of research regarding what specs a monitor should have to look good for PC and a PS4. I keep getting my information crossed on what I should go for so I was hoping someone could break it down for me.

I use my PC for Gaming and school work (Computer animation. So ZBrush/Maya/ect.)

PS4 for... well.. games.


I want to get something in the 1440p to 4K range. 32 Inches.

Budget would ideally be under $400, but the more I look online the more I know I will most likely need to increase my budget. (One can dream though.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

With that monitor being Freesync, would that cause issues if I am not using AMD? That's one thing that has been a bit of a hangup for me.

It won't be an issue. Will just act like a non-Freesync display without a compatible GPU.

Good to know. Then as far as Refresh rate, just keep it at 60 instead of aiming higher seeing as consoles can't go higher than that?

Yep. That's it. Closet 32" 4k model I could find from a reputable source. If you don't like it, you can always return to BB.
