There are green dots everywhere when i set my monitor to 144hz

I just got an asus vg278q and when i put the refresh rate to 144hz it starts to show green dots everywhere, but at 60hz its fine and at 100 and 120 its still has the green dots. Anyone have a fix.

Check the cable. Make sure it is seated properly or replace it if you have a spare one. You may have to fidget with one or both of the ends of the cable to get a good seating.
