Acer R240HY - is this ghosting or something else?

Hey all, Just recently bought the Acer R240HY. This is my first IPS monitor. I noticed some issues with it though. I'm honestly not sure how to describe it? I THINK it's ghosting? I could be wrong though.

I swapped monitors with my wife (she has a TN screen) for testing and it happens with her computer as well(but not her monitor on my computer) So I know it's related to the monitor.

I've also tried all three overdrive settings (off, normal, extreme) Extreme gets rid of it mostly, but introduces horrible coronas (At least with my limited knowledge I believe it's coronas).

I'll include two links to videos I took recording the monitor with an iphone. I tried to use fraps but for some reason the videos are extremely dark AND they look fine on her monitor but still show the problem on mine.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to figure out if I need to submit a claim to Amazon to get a replacement monitor or if I'm still going to have these issues anyway. Thanks!

probably software issue, because monitors only display what PC want.

Hey, if you're still having this problem, I highly suggest you disable the OD (Overdrive) option in the monitor settings menu (the section with the wrench icon). I thought the ghosting (or whatever it was) was because of the response time, but this completeley got rid of the issue for me. Hope this helps.
