My computer keeps on freezing every now and then and won't unfreeze unless I do a hard reset. I looked a the event viewer but I can't make heads or tails of it. I know there are hundreds of reasons this could be happening, but I don't know where to begin. Can anybody help me?

1| List your specs please. If it's a laptop or a prebuilt, list the SKU/make and model.
2| Can you pin point the time at which the lock ups occur? During a task or is it at bootup?
3| You may need to recreate your bootable USB installer to keep in hand in case you're going to need to reinstall your OS.
4| If you can get into GUI without much fuss, try a repair install and see if the issue persists.

Hp Spectre x360. SKU is 4351701. model is 13-4103dx. I can't pin down when the lockups occur to a single thing. It will just happen randomly sometimes while browsing. It did happen a couple times back to back once while I was streaming some video. Would posting the event log help? I do know what times it happened at.
