adding a second GPU

I have a Gigabyte X99-UD4 mo/bo, Intel i7 5820K CPU, Gigabyte GTX970 GPU, 1200W PSU, 32 GB's of RAM. I do graphic design work. Would it make sense to add another GTX970? Or, will a 1070 GPU work with my GTX970? Thanks! Any discussion or recommendation will be appreciated.

Adding the extra card won't give you a noticeable performance increase.
