Can you connect a gtx 1050 ti with a displayport to vga adapter to a monitor that has vga dvi and hdmi interface. I only have a vga cable and a displayport to vga passive adapter I want to know if it will work or if I should just buy a cable instead.

I can only go off of what has happened with my 750ti, and can’t say for sure if it will work for yours.

However the adapter should work fine, and if you plug into the vga on the monitor. The only limitation you might run into is when accessing high refresh rates or higher resolutions as vga has a lower maximum supported resolution than native DVI.

But it should work just fine.
