PC Won't Boot Into Windows Past Mobo Splash

I am not completely sure if this is the OS issue, but I'll give it a shot.

This morning my PC stopped booting into Windows. The yesterday's shut down went smoothly without indicating any issues.

The computer boots, goes past the motherboard splash screen (I can access the BIOS if I want) and then I am greeted with the blank screen. No cursor, no sounds, no nothing. I never had any Windows greeting screen, it would always go blank and then load the system shortly after. Only now it's stuck forever.

I tried reseating the GPU, reseating the RAM, resetting CMOS. The issue persists.

My specs are:

CPU: i7-7700K
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 1070 ROG
MBD: Asus MAXIMUS VIII RANGER Asus STRIX Z270E
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX (CMK16GX4M2A2666C16)
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB
HDD: WD 1TB W10EZEX
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 80 Plus Gold 550

I had absolutely no major issues with my build so far, especially not recently.

Updated BIOS and ran Microsoft diagnostic tools from a boot drive. Still no change.

Solution
Either DVI cable or DVI input turned out to be the culprit. Once I switched the cable to HDMI the signal came back and apart from slight desaturation everything works fine.
