dead or stuck pixel?

I have one tiny red pixel in the middle of the screen that drives me nuts is it stuck or dead and can it be fixed somehow? if so how? Thanks.

Press a damp cloth against the spot of the stuck pixel, don't use your hands as that could damage the screen. I used to have a red stuck pixel on my monitor and pressing a damp cloth against it a few times removed it entirely.
