Is this monitor backlight bleed acceptable ?

I just bought a LG 24MP88HV, the backbleed in daylight is unnoticeable but when use at night it kind of bother me. Is this acceptable ? Should i go return it ?

I ve seen a review with this monitor having indeed issues of backlight bleeding. You can tweak some settings, like gamma, brightness, backlight and see if it makes it better. Your first picture is way too much of an issue. I would try my luck and ask for rma.
