Is GTX 1060 6GB SSC overkill for i5 7500?

So this is my first build and tomshardware forum has been very helpful so far. I'm not sure if a EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB SSC will go with i5 7500 build?. Is there anything wrong if I use a SuperSuper Clocked gpu with i5 7500 or Can I even use it with this cpu? I'm aware that my cpu cannot be overclocked and I don't plan to.

Why this version of GPU? Because that's the only one available in my budget. I've been checking and waiting for GPU prices to go down. When I saw this on sale for £280 I just grabbed it but I still have time to not have it if there is anything wrong with it. Thanks

And also Is that (£280) a good price for this GPU? GPU prices are ridiculous atm. :/

Thank you for the reply. So you think the GPU (It's super super clocked) will not bottleneck the cpu I'm using?

If you're gaming at 1080p resolutions or lower, the GTX 1060 is just about ideal (the only other ideal option being AMD's RX 480/580). Lesser GPUs won't perform quite as well (i.e. more of a bottleneck), & better GPUs like the GTX 1070 are meant for 1440p or higher resolutions and/or higher refresh rates.
