ALL video audio issue

ALL video from ALL websites have an issue with audio slowly de- syncing from the video. It seems to happen after the system was on for a while (a few hours) and only when i was working on another screen that had a needy program on it. But now it is doing it while i'm just watching the video. I looked at youtube "stats for nerds" and I found that I am slowly dropping frames. At the worst time, I was dropping 1.3 FPS.

Can you please try updating the graphics and audio drivers? Also, please make sure that the web browser is updated as well.

I have managed to isolate it down to chrome being the issue. I tried Firefox and it ran fine, and POT player never has issues. So i think my next step is going to be dumping chrome entirely, erasing everything, then throwing a new copy of chrome on here. It is also taking up a lot of CPU recently as well. So I think a virus might be lurking in chrome.
