I can't extend my displays.

So I recently upgraded my graphics card from a gtx 560 ti to a amd radeon 6970 (i think) and i can't extend my display between my 1680x1050 samsung screen and my aoc 2470W screen. Any help? For my samsung screen i have a dvi and for my aoc I have hdmi. I have Windows 7 Professional installed.

how are you trying to extend the displays. Try pressing Win + P and then selecting extend.

I know how to in the screen resolution tab. But when I try to apply it just says "Unable to save display settings."
