My dudes good morning!
New to the forum and looking for some help. I have a ASUS ROG laptop that I got a few years a go and I love it (it's a beast). My problem is that now every once in a while my screen will turn black, followed by a computer freeze, then I will have to manual kill/reset the PC.
I ran the most recent FurMark at 1920x1080HD and passed, so I think my graphics card is good.
Here are the basics via Specy:
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 3610QM @ 2.30GHz
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology
RAM
12.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. G75VW (SOCKET 0)
Graphics
Generic PnP Monitor (1920x1080@60Hz)
3071MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M (ASUStek Computer Inc)
Storage
698GB Seagate ST9750420AS (SATA)
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT51N
Any thoughts on why it might be dying suddenly? Could something be loose somewhere?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
J
