Screen black then PC dies/resets

My dudes good morning!
New to the forum and looking for some help. I have a ASUS ROG laptop that I got a few years a go and I love it (it's a beast). My problem is that now every once in a while my screen will turn black, followed by a computer freeze, then I will have to manual kill/reset the PC.

I ran the most recent FurMark at 1920x1080HD and passed, so I think my graphics card is good.

Any thoughts on why it might be dying suddenly? Could something be loose somewhere?

I found people online saying that they have the same problem when downloading things. Try downloading something big and see what happens.
